Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring full compliance.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
