Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage complex account reconciliations for multi-currency transactions and investment portfolios
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory accuracy
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure seamless compliance
- Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Maintain robust internal controls and implement process improvements
- Support M&A transactions due diligence and post-merger integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or financial services
- Expertise in GAAP, SEC regulations, and complex financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting
