Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for stakeholders
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Implement continuous process improvements in financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven track record of managing month-end and year-end closes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit procedures
