Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements across multi-state operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead internal controls audits and process improvement projects
- Prepare executive-level financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
