Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and tax season
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience leading month-end closing processes
- Strong written/verbal communication and remote collaboration skills
