Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for business decisions
- Prepare and review complex reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for smooth completion
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and account reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy and problem-solving abilities
