Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable optimization and reconciliation
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and analysis
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (RPA)
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
