Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and tax season.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
