Responsibilities
- Manage monthly/quarterly financial reporting cycles including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Oversee general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reviews
- Optimize accounting workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automation tools
- Mentor junior accountants and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently in remote environments
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
