Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end close
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate client accounting records in QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with multi-state tax filings and audit preparation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
