Your Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies. You will play a key role in our month-end close process and assist in streamlining our accounting workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare complex financial statements, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial data to stakeholders.
