Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and budget forecasts.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and support the external audit process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate status is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
