Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Lead tax preparation for corporate clients, including federal, state, and local filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial reporting integrity
- Collaborate with audit teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes
- Provide strategic financial consulting to clients on growth optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on commercial clients
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in tax preparation and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of Arizona state tax regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing audit adjustments
