Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements across all financial operations
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with precision
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or comparable accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial reporting
