Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings while ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead process optimization projects to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit support
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating with virtual teams
