Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end closings
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable business insights
- Prepare and audit financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Implement and optimize internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Lead special projects including tax preparation and audit coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in remote settings
- Excellent verbal/written communication and stakeholder management skills
