Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance filings.
- Perform basic bookkeeping duties using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Support the accounting department with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to obtain relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA).
