Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 24-hour turnaround
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 employees
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams during quarter-ends
- Implement QuickBooks optimization for 15+ clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables/VLOOKUPs
- Payroll processing certification (ADP/QuickBooks preferred)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (OH/IL)
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
