Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL maintenance, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead tax preparation activities and coordinate external audits
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure team compliance with policies
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/macros; experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
