Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements & SEC filings
- Lead month-end/year-end close processes with SOX compliance
- Manage multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Develop financial models for forecasting & scenario analysis
- Mentor junior accounting staff on GAAP best practices
- Automate reporting workflows using Power BI
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA required
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query/Pivot mastery
- SAP or Oracle ERP implementation experience
- Expert knowledge of multi-state tax regulations
- Strong SOX 404 compliance background
- Proven remote work success with self-discipline
- Exceptional written communication for executive reporting
