Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex general ledger operations and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Partner with external auditors during financial examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
