Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and submit accurate financial statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and optimize cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial examinations
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Maintain and optimize financial systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience with financial audits and regulatory compliance
