Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and oversee general ledger reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Conduct financial audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvements initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and compliance processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
