Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making
- Ensure internal controls documentation and SOX compliance adherence
- Drive process improvements in accounting operations and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing SOX compliance and internal controls documentation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively in virtual environments
