Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead audits and tax preparation processes with external partners
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or private sector
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and presentations
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and reducing costs
