Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Lead audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with remote work and virtual team coordination
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
