Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with strict adherence to GAAP compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend actionable business improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain internal controls and ensure audit readiness documentation
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for multiple entities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for virtual stakeholder collaboration
