Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and credit card statements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Process payroll using QuickBooks Online and ensure tax filings are submitted timely and accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, trial balances, and financial reports for management review.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues promptly.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
