Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead preparation and analysis of complex financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across financial systems
- Support tax preparation and regulatory filings with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/macros; experience with QuickBooks/NetSuite
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
