Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations for banking, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Support external audits and ensure regulatory compliance across all financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Experience with remote team collaboration and digital accounting tools
