Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements ensuring UK GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero-tolerance for errors
- Manage complex multi-currency transactions and international reconciliations
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models for executive leadership
- Oversee VAT returns and corporate tax submissions to HMRC
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and provide financial training

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in UK/EU markets
- Expertise in Xero, QuickBooks, and SAP financial modules
- Advanced Excel skills with Power BI/Tableau proficiency
- Proven track record in process optimisation and automation
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in filings
