Responsibilities

- Lead month-end closing processes with 48-hour turnaround targets
- Develop automated financial reporting workflows using Power BI
- Coordinate internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants through structured training programs
- Optimize financial systems for scalability and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated success with remote team collaboration tools
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and NY State tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with 99.9% accuracy
