Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial and consumer lending portfolios
- Monitor existing credit exposures and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure competitive credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Support portfolio management through regular reporting and trend analysis
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in credit evaluation workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis or lending
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies
- FCRA/FDIC compliance knowledge preferred
