Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Oversee general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance analysis.
- Assist with external audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Streamline accounting processes and improve financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
