As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity, preparing complex reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process for multiple departments.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Support external audits and tax preparations by providing requested documentation.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
