Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and assist in the budgeting process.
- Support external audits and internal controls by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
