Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting cycles.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of local and federal tax filings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Perform internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
- Utilize financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with night shift experience highly valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote night environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
