Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-of-month and end-of-year financial close processes during the night shift to ensure timely reporting.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts with high precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure vendor and client payments are processed accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audits with external accounting firms.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain and organize digital financial records and tax documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a Night Shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
