As a key member of our accounting department, you will ensure the absolute accuracy of financial records, manage complex month-end close processes, and provide strategic insights to drive our business forward. We value autonomy, expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-month and year-end closing processes with a strict focus on accuracy and strict timeliness.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work the night shift (Shift times to be discussed during interview).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
