Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all night shift transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and variance analysis for executive leadership.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices with a focus on speed and accuracy during peak processing times.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual audits and tax filings.
- Maintain strict adherence to GAAP and internal control policies.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to manipulate large datasets and identify financial trends.
- Collaborate with the day-shift finance team to ensure seamless handover of data and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated experience working the night shift or ability to adapt to a non-traditional schedule.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-departmental collaboration.
