Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to manage our financial operations during the evening hours. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and the timely processing of transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure all night-shift transactions are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices with high precision and adherence to internal controls.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a nightly basis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records and documentation.
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the night shift.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
