Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the end-of-day and night-shift financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and operational metrics.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all invoices are processed correctly during off-hours.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to transfer data and resolve outstanding issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with specific experience in night shift or high-volume financial processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
