Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with nightly reconciliation processes
- Conduct comprehensive month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Assist with external audit preparations and documentation
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Implement process improvements for night shift accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven expertise in month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
