Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Process invoices and manage vendor relationships.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
