Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform end-of-day and end-of-month general ledger close procedures to ensure timely reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and budget forecasts.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for fiscal records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
