Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts daily
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement QuickBooks software solutions for client workflows
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support annual audits and financial reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification or equivalent proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Knowledge of CA sales tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Ability to handle confidential financial data with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Valid California driver's license for client visits
