Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a nightly basis.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work a Night Shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
