Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger entries with high accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions during the night shift.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Prepare and post adjusting entries for month-end close preparation.
- Generate nightly financial reports and ensure data integrity in the accounting software.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and digital records.
- Assist the day team with audit inquiries and financial data retrieval.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a night shift role.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without supervision.
- Must be available to work 3rd shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
