Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to identify variances.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
