Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare necessary adjusting entries.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns with the support of external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
